Forbes Africa published its annual Top 10 Most Bankable Artists in Africa list for 2017, highlighting the fiscal achievements of African artists, producers and music moguls in its May Forbes Africa issue.
Artists who made it onto the list include Wizkid, Davido, Don Jazzy and Hugh Masikela who was honoured for his longstanding work in music, which includes a Grammy Award nomination, honorary doctorates, more than 43 albums and millions of YouTube views. Senegalese-born rapper and record label owner Akon made it as number one on the list.
Continuing with his upward streak, Black Coffee also made it onto the list at number two. Congrats!
