Cape Town International Jazz Festival 2014 hosts free community concert


  The Cape Town International Jazz Festival is one of the biggest events of each year, attracting visitors from far and wide to enjoy a night of music. Now running in its 15th year, the CTIJF hosts a free community concert. Now everyone can be part of the show! Rashid Lombard, the founder of the Festival says the free concert showcases the commitment to ensuring that live music reaches more people. The line-up this year includes a number of international and local musicians. Multi-award winning British Jazz-funk band, Shakatak will be taking the stage and neo-soul singer, Tasha’s World from The Netherlands will be performing too.
Local acts such as Crazy White Boy (best known for their track “Love you Better”), the Arts & Focus Schools Superband and Cape Town’s rising star Sade Ross will feature too. Good Hope FM’s LuWayne Wonder will be hosting the event. The concert details are below: Time: Wednesday 26 March 2014
