Lira shares odd fan request

The songstress shared with Trending SA that her fans sometimes have a few strange requests, like the one time a male fan asked her to intervene in his relationship with his wife after a tiff. Like the superstar she is, Lira gladly called his wife to apologise on his behalf.

“There was a guy that asked me to call and apologise to his wife because he had messed up so much. So there I was, in the middle of the day calling... I could hear that she was broken and she was hurt, but we had a woman to woman talk and she really appreciated it.”

The actress is out in LA promoting local movie, Catching Feeling directed by comedian, Kagiso Lediga which he described as a dark romantic comedy.

DJ Milkshake walks for charity

Yesterday the DJ began his walk from his family home in Diepkloof, Soweto to Tlhabane in Rustenburg. The DJ is embarking on the 120km walk under his DJ Milkshake Foundation to raise awareness and funds for basic needs (school shoes, uniform and stationary) for underprivileged kids. He’s set to finish the walk today and has been posting to fans on his updates.
