Celebs rocking Blackberry-inspired lipstick

accreditation

Blackberry-inspired lipstick hues are making a splash on the red carpet this awards season.

At the recent Golden Globes, Kerry Washington made a memorable style statement when she matched her glittering gold Dolce & Gabbana gown with a luscious dark purple hue on her lips.

Her gorgeous lip colour was created by mixing Dolce & Gabbana Classic Cream Lipstick in Glam with Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Deep Plum.

Trend to try

If you’re looking to try this cool trend for yourself, ensure you prepare your lips with a lip scrub and a slick of a gentle balm first. Then line the pout with a matching or similar coloured lip liner – Stila Stay All Day Lip Liner in Cabernet and Lord & Berry Ultimate Lip Liner in Vintage Rose are both good options.

Dip your toes into the look with a pretty berry stain formula to get the colour, without the full commitment of a lipstick. Becca Beach Tint in Raspberry is a super subtle jelly-esque stain for cheeks and lips, which melts into skin for a natural swipe of colour.

Here are local celebs who rock the Blackberry-inspired lipstick trend.
