Celebs who spin the decks after work

Thando Thabethe

Popular actress Thando is on our screens every weekday and in our radios from 10am-01pm. When she’s not busy Mc’ing she makes the rest of us dance at corporate and commercial events. She was recently spotted on the decks at the launch of David Tlale’s Spree collection at Mall of Africa.

Lerato Kganyago

She started off as a model and worked her way up to presenting shows like The Link and Live Amp. She apparantly started learning how to DJ from 2008 and in 2015 she officially launched herself. Lerato also co-hosts The Afternoon Drive on Metro FM with Mo Flava.

Thuli Phongolo

Generations-The legacy introduced us to Thuli as Namhla. Not so long ago she graduated with a degree in strategic marketing from the University of Johannesburg, which we hope she will be putting to good use for her Djing.

Pearl Modiadie

While its not set in stone, this presenter hinted on her radio show with Amon Mokoena,The Great Escape, that by June she should be able to mix live on radio for the listeners. She also mentioned on how grateful she is for everyone involved in teaching her. Guess we just have to wait and see.

Poppy Ntshongwana

This fitness enthusiast and radio personality also DJ’s. She made it go down at the Cape Argus Cycle Tour in 2015. We hope we’ll be seeing more of her on the decks In the future.
