DJ Zinle talks Pink Revolution Conference

accreditation

1. With an all-female delegation, what are you hoping to achieve at the end of the Pink Revolution Conference this year? We want women to feel equipped with information and be aware of the opportunities that exist in the entertainment industry. 2. What role do you think Fuse is currently playing in the entertainment industry? We are the force behind the growth of female presence in the DJ industry. Most of the ladies entering this field either trained with us or they were inspired by someone that has been part of Fuse Academy. 3.What are your aspirations for Fuse in the next 5-10 years?

We are excited about growing the Pink Revolution concept who’s main aim is empowering females in the entertainment industry. The Pink Revolution Conference this year is a one day event which is only open 150 delegates but in 5 years we are hoping to accommodate 5000 female delegates over a few days. Unknown 4. In your opinion, what are the biggest challenges women in the entertainment industry face? Lack of information is the biggest challenge, a lot of females want a career in the music business but they do not know where or how to start. Information is the driver in a lot of decisions and without it, a lot of women find themselves stuck in bad deals. 5. Your panel for the Pink Revolution consists of many prominent people in the industry. Tell us about your selection process?

When it came to the panel, we made sure we pulled all the stops, we wanted to make sure that that the people attending the conference get the value for their time. It's a powerful panel and everyone was carefully selected with the intention to equip the delegates with as much information as possible. These are the conversations that we wish someone would have had with us when we were starting out, even now, we wish we could have these kind of conversations everyday. 10575344_10152538489299268_8676212341161602536_o 6. Who inspires you? Powerful women with a purpose inspire us greatly, we love success stories. We celebrate women and learn as much as we can from them. 7. What’s the one thing a mentor has taught you that has helped you on your journey? Patience and goal setting are very important. One always needs to be focused on a goal and also understand that it might take longer that they thought that's why patience and perseverance is key. 8. How do you manage to balance Era by DJ Zinhle, Fuse and DJ’ing appointments?
One day at a time, a plan and a strong team. 9.What would you say to your 21-year old self? Take your time to understand yourself better. 10. What can ladies look forward to at the PRC?

Information, networking opportunities and encouragement from other females. We are excited about creating a powerful female networking environment that will help women understand just how much opportunities are out there.
