Fruity “couscous”

Main Kellogg’s ingredients: Kellogg’s Special K

Serves 4


  • 6 dates and Turkish apricots, chopped
  • Orange juice
  • 2 apples and pears, cored and chopped
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Good handful of chopped mint
  • 500 ml (2 c) Special K, crushed
  • Roasted almond flakes (optional)
  • Honey to taste


Step 1

Cover the dates and apricots in orange juice and soak for about 1 hour. Add the chopped fruit, mint and cinnamon. Keep chilled till just before serving.

Step 2

Mix in the crunched Kellogg’s Special K and almonds, spoon into bowls and serve with a swirl of honey.
