Finding it hard to hit the gym again or gain momentum for your desired body? Here are few easy home workouts to help ease you into it:

Dance

This is a fun way to get your body moving, get your heart racing and burn calories. You’ll feel young and energised and all you have to do is move the furniture around blast your favourite jams and literally dance like nobody is watching.

Standing push-ups

Cooking dinner? Then why not do standing push-ups while you wait for the pot to boil. Stand about arm’s length from the kitchen counter and push your arms against the counter. Push in and out to get toned arms and shoulders.

Jump rope

Why not? This is perfect full body cardio blast that will have you sweating in no time and it’s still fun and reminiscent of when you were young.

2 min Squats

Whether you watching your favourite soapie, and it’s the add break or you waiting for the microwave to warm your meal. Use that time in between to squat and get firm buns.

Wall sit

Wall sits are excellent for building strength and endurance in the core and lower body muscles and all you need is a blank wall. Slide your back down the wall until your hips and knees bend at a 90 degrees angle Keep the shoulders, upper back and the back of the head against the wall. Both feet should be flat on the ground with the weight evenly distributed. Hold for 20 seconds or as long as possible.
