BB creams

This will replace the step of applying foundation. The idea is to keep it natural and BB creams are great for doing that. They provide just the right amout of cover up with a natural feel to it. They often have certain amout of SPF so try getting one with a maximum of 15 as you don’t want to end up looking grey.

Cover up those dark spots with a bit of concealer that matches your skin. Dab a little on problem areas and blend it in with your index finger or a beauty blender. To avoid it creasing, apply a tad of finishing powder, let it sit for a few minutes and dust off the excess with a clean brush.

Neutral eyeshadow

The aim is enhance your eyes and not show the colour of your eyeshadow so go with natural browns and nudes. They will hardly be visible unless someone literally closely stares into your eyes.

Moisturising lip balm

You still want to be convincingly natural with your lips so your favourite lipstick in hot pink will not do the trick. Apply a balm, preferably one that’s moisturising and is similar to your shade but better.

Brown water-resistant mascara

Be very light handed when applying this – you just want to stretch your lashes to awaken your eyes. This will also depend on the colour of your lashes but a natural brown mascara instead of black will be ideal.
