Screen Shot 2016-05-26 at 3.06.28 PM For those wanting to experiment with this style at home top tips for recreating this beautiful plaited hairstyle in just a few minutes. This look can be achieved with weaved or braided hair. Step 1 Start by sectioning the outside of your hair with a two inch (5cm) wide section.  Step 2 Keeping your fingers close to your scalp, French braid so the pieces of hair pass underneath, instead of on top. Step 3 Once you have braided all the edge of your hair line, join the braid with the inner hair left out. Tip: Rough the sections so that the end result is playful and not too neat. Step 4 Secure with a band at the end of the hair and twist the plait back on itself, if you have hair left over. Step 5 Lightly tug on the crown of the head for volume and and pull out any wispy bangs and face-framing layers to soften the look. Step 6 Use more pins to secure. Tip: For an evening look, thread a bejewelled headband through the braids, or weave in some ribbon or metal chain to complete the style.  For hair halo inspiration, Take inspiration from Rita and keep your make-up soft and ethereal, swiping bronze eyeshadow over your lids and keeping lips neutral with a shimmery pink lipgloss. © Cover Media
