We can imagine how it is challenging to choose the best hair if you've never had a weave before. Here’s a guide to help you decide.
The types of hair and the differences
Synthetic hair
It's an affordable type of hair that can be used for weaves. It's made up of microfiber so if you'll be heating the hair for styling then this it’s not the best option because it will burn.
Human hair
This hair is just above synthetic hair in terms of quality. It is also known best as Premium now and Premium 2 hair. You are able to do a bit more with this hair but there is a limit to the heat you can apply though and you cannot dye the hair.
Virgin hair
Virgin hair is A grade type of hair, you are able to dye the hair and apply heat to it. It lasts longer because it is cloned from humans. You are able to reuse the hair up to a period of two years.
Malaysian Hair
The hair is fine and does not easily blend in well with straightened hair of African people. Closure pieces are a better choice with Malaysian hair.It holds curls far better as well. The hair is a shiny type but dies out after a few washes.
Indian hair
Indian hair is dense and matches well with the texture of black woman's hair. It is versatile as well as easy on the curs because of its coarseness. It works for straightening.
Brazilian hair
Brazilian hair extensions are not the best to purchase if you plan on straightening it most of the time.
Peruvian hair
It is the coarsest hair out of all the mentioned above, we have learnt that from the other hair that coarseness blends far better and holds curls far better as well. It is dense and has more body which creates a fuller look when straightened.
