Tell him how you feel

He probably isn’t aware of your affection and you can’t put the blame on him. So what better way of letting him know than just to tell him? Don’t wait for him to make the first move because you might just wait forever.

Show him how you feel

Flirting will get you out of almost anything, the friend-zone included. Small hints like commenting on how hot his hair cut is or how good he smells should raise an alarm. Overtime he’ll realise your sudden attention and possibly act on it.

Don’t let him talk to you as a friend

Don’t allow him to gossip with you about who their currently eyeing bacause it narrows your chances of exiting the friend-zone. If you allow this he’ll forever think of you as a buddy with “great advice”.

Find out why he only sees you as a friend

It could be the way you talk or treat him or you two just get along way too well to be a couple. Whatever it is, you definitely can work around it. Show him how great a couple you’d make by pointing out what makes you two compatible.

Make physical contact…

…and the key word here is slowly. And… no! Don’t just go on and kiss the guy by surprise! Gentle touches on the hand or shoulder when he says something funny can be your starting point.

Make him miss you

As mentioned above, sometimes you’re placed in the friend-zone unaware and should you stop seeing or communicating with the friend-zoner, he might realise that he actually feels something for you, so make yourself scarce for a bit.
