How to know when it is over

Do you remember when you first started dating your man? There were endless phone calls, sweet messages and maybe even gifts. The world becomes heavenly when a man falls in love with you – and shows it. Fast forward your relationship to where it is now. Is it still as good, or are you holding on to the past and hoping things will change for the better?

If your man is doing the following things, it’s probably time for you to move on as he wants it to be over.

He’s always with the boys

If he regularly tells you that he is going to be spending the whole weekend with his friends, it could mean that he wants out. Think back to when the relationship was at its honeymoon phase. Your man made it a point to spend more time with you, even when he was busy. If he does not make such sacrifices anymore to see you it could mean he has another woman whom he is spending more time with.

He needs space

If he suddenly says that he needs more space, it could be a sublte way to tell you to leave him alone. The question you should consider is how long he needs space for. If he tells you that it’s until he gets things in his life sorted out, it means your man has moved on and won’t make any contact with you after saying these words.

Let’s be friends

These words mean that he no longer has feelings for you. Because he has doesn’t have another reason for the break-up, he tries to get out of your relationship by suggesting friendship.

He doesn’t show up

Ignoring you is probably the most frustrating and longest route a man will take when he is too afraid to break up with you. Ignoring you becomes the easiest way to make you go away.

He doesn’t call

We all love to hear from our men over the phone, especially when it has been a while since we last saw them. When your man suddenly does not make the effort to call you or answer your calls, he usually leaves you to draw your own conclusions about the relationship.

He is irritable and cold

His tone has changed from gentle to harsh and he starts useless arguments. If you dress beautifully or smell great, he asks who you were trying to impress.

He makes you jealous

He will flirt openly with other women, especially when you are around. He ignores you while he holds other women’s hands, just to hurt your feelings.

He criticises you

Instead of complimenting you, he highlights your flaws. He makes you feel small and does not recognise the things you do for him. This is an extreme way to show you that he is no longer into you.
