Create an itinerary built for romance Instead of jam packing your itinerary with various activities, look for romantic dinners, or go for sundowners somewhere special. Phone and ask the hotel if they offer any couple’s packages, you may be surprised at how romantic they are. Add a couple’s spa package Lying on a massage table side-by-side with your partner is a nice treat to add to your weekend away. A glass of wine in the jaccuzi with your other half can give you time to connect and really pay attention to each other. Plan for plenty of sex Plan to use that ‘do not disturb’ sign because you can spend a day lying in and having a sex marathon. Utilise the facilities available to you to try things you’ve always wanted to try. Some hotels off super private rooms where no one can see you if you chose to do it outside, and private pools. Switch off your phones It may be difficult to turn off your phones if you have kids. But, therer’s no need to be paranoid about it. Check that everything is okay at home and then focus on each other. It would be horrible if you went on a get away, and end up using all that time to chat on WhatsApp, check what trending on Twitter or having a fat conversation with someone else instead of your partner. Utilise the room service You can’t have a sex marathon without eating something at some point. So, order in indulgent food. Champagne, chocolate, honey, grapes and berries. Keep it light – so nothing full of garlic or stinky cheese – so you can eat and also play with it. Warm chocolate or honey is great for licking off of your partner’s skin, or use popsicle or a differen sensation. Ahm… just don’t put food in or on your genitals.
