Inside Beyonce's Soul Train themed birthday party


Beyonce celebrated her 35th birthday by throwing a Soul Train-themed fancy dress party attended by stars including Usher, Kelly Rowland and Alicia Keys. Beyonce is presented with a cake, topped with sparklers, as she wears metallic hotpants and platform heels with a loose-fitting orange top and retro sunglasses. Jay Z introduces her as the cake is brought out and their daughter Blue Ivy says "Happy birthday mummy!" 

"Thank you everybody for coming. Y'all did such an incredible job committing and I'm so happy to be here," Beyonce said before looking at Jay Z and saying "Thank you, baby."

In this video, Beyonce is seen getting down on the dancefloor in sparkly one-legged trousers and cropped shirt with flared sleeves as  Jay Z, who is dressed in a wig and military jacket like late rocker Jimi Hendrix, joins her as they perform a saucier version of the Soul Train line dance. Relationship goals!
