The fifth annual Simon Mabhunu Sabela Film and Television Awards which celebrate and honour exceptional work in the industry took place on Saturday at The Playhouse in Durban. The beautiful Nandi Madida was host for the evening and Mzansi Magic’s Isibaya came out tops in most categories.

Siyabonga Thwala won Best Actor while Nomzamo Mbatha bagged the Best Actress award. Andile Mxakaza took home the Best Supporting Actor award, Linda Mtoba, Best Newcomer and Gcina Mkhize Best Supporting Actress. Well done to the team!
