However, it’s intense and you can’t expect to go to a sweat class or do major exercise while juicing.” Caradas says it gives your digestive system a break you and will feel lighter, less bloated and your skin will definitely benefit. People should consider more vegetables in their juices as fruit has a lot of sugar and contains lots of carbohydrates. “Juicing for three to five days can get rid of up to 2 kgs. So it’s effective but one has to maintain a healthy lifestyle after and not go back to unhealthy living. Maybe replace one meal a day with juice to keep the momentum going,” advises Caradas. If you can’t manage an all-liquid diet, she recommends you add a health meal to your juicing regimen. There are various routine you can follow, or get tips online. To get going, get yourself a reliable juicer and stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables.
