Kylie Jenner 'didn’t mean' to dye her hair platinum blonde

The reality TV star unveiled her major mane makeover, sharing the lengthy dyeing process to lighten her naturally raven locks on Snapchat.

Showing off her new platinum hair at an event held at the Kendall + Kylie Collection pop-up shop at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday (07Sep16), the 19-year-old shared her shock over how bright her tresses ended up.

“I actually didn’t mean to go platinum,” she told PeopleStyle. “I really wanted a nice, honey dirty blonde and when we started bleaching it, it got so light so fast and I was like ‘Wow, my hair is not damaged, I can do this.’ So I went for it. ”

Kylie wore a blue-and-white striped two-piece trouser set and a white sports bra for the presentation of the latest pieces from their eponymous line, while her fashion model sister Kendall rocked a silky black jumpsuit, slicked back hair and a bright red pout.

But the duo pulled out all the stops when they attended brother-in-law Kanye West's Yeezy Season 4 show at Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island later in the day.

Joining their elder half-sister Kim Kardashian, the fashionistas chose to dress in head-to-toe Yeezy, with Kylie opting for a beige two-piece number which was paired with a light grey hoodie and high heels made from clear plastic.

And the Lip Kit mogul couldn’t help but gush about Kanye’s latest high-fashion collection, which featured sportswear and military-inspired details in a deliberately limited colour palette of greys and khakis.

"I love Kanye's shows," Kylie smiled to Entertainment Tonight. "They're always super elevated and cool and they inspire me and I think it was great. The clothes looked awesome and I'm really proud of him."
