Mum was the word at the Luminance Mother’s Day High Tea held outside the South African multi-brand luxury emporium’s Hyde Park store on Saturday afternoon.

International actress, producer and entrepreneur Terry Pheto, who recently landed a prestigious UK acting award, hosted the tea and was honoured with the Luminance Star award for excellence by store owner and leading businesswoman Dr Judy Dlamini.

Guests, including yummy mummies LeAnne Dlamini, Melanie Bala, Tamerin Jardine and expecting mom Rozanne McKhenzie, were treated to a delicious high tea from Life Grand Café and with gift bags courtesy of luxury nougat brand 1701 at the event.

With Mother’s Day taking place the following week (May 14th), A-listers took the opportunity to bring along their Moms: Vanessa Carreira-Coutroulis arrived with Adelia Carreira, Tumi Voster with her mom Lebo and stylish TV and radio personality Lerato Kganyago with her mom Rae.
