The nominations for the MTV Movie Awards have been announced and we can’t wait for yet another epically funny, explosive, over-the-top show to come any sooner!

This year is full of blockbusters, comedic hits, critically acclaimed films – and surprising nominations for some awards.

American Hustle and The Wolf of Wall Street take nomination supremacy with eight nominations, while the story of Katnis in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire inspires with seven nominations.

Don’t miss the live broadcast on MTV (DStv Channel 130). You can also watch the primetime premiere on Monday 14 April at 21:15 CAT, pre-show will begin 20:30 CAT).
