#MBFWJ16 Day 1 fashion highlights


Judging by what the designers had to offer, we're looking forward to fashion this Spring/Summer 2016. Nandi Mngoma debuted her new range called Colour with designer Inga Madyibi, which featured some of our favourite looks of the evening.  Screen Shot 2016-08-11 at 9.50.44 AM We loved the bold and colourful make-up by M.A.C Cosmetics, which has us super excited for the spring face beat trends. Screen Shot 2016-08-11 at 10.28.58 AM David Tlale kicked of Fashion Week with The Interns displaying their spring collections.  Screen Shot 2016-08-11 at 10.30.18 AM AFI Fastback young designer of the year 2016 collaborations Screen Shot 2016-08-11 at 10.04.57 AM DJ Zinhle, Minnie Dlamini and DJ Tira where chosen to collaborate with designers for the AFI Fastback showcase, which featured designers competing for the AFI young designer of the year award.  DJ Zinhle  Screen Shot 2016-08-11 at 10.03.08 AM DJ Zinhle collaborated with designer Chesney Williams for a grunge biker chick inspired collection, which suited the DJ well.  DJ Zinhle and Chesney Williams Screen Shot 2016-08-11 at 11.06.34 AM Minnie Dlamini and Tayla Shan Screen Shot 2016-08-11 at 10.38.41 AM Minnie collaborated with designer Tayla Shan for a soft all-white collection inspired by tennis.
