Pepsi advert featuring Kendall Jenner faces backlash

In the ad, Kendall leaves a photoshoot to join protesters calling for peace and love. She ends up offering a can of Pepsi to one of the police officers as a peace offering.

Countries that are currently in political conflicts are angered by this and are accusing Pepsi of exploiting the #BlackLiveMatter movement to sell their product.

In an interview with CNN, Pepsi said “This is a global ad that reflects people from different walks of life coming together in a spirit of harmony, and we think that's an import message to convey."
