We ask our May 2017 cover girl quirky questions about herself. Here’s what she had to say.
What was your last dream about?
I’m on my way to Cape Town and last night I dreamt I missed my flight and I was freaking out.
Besides acting and singing, do you have any other talents?
I’m surprisingly quite the majaivana on the dance floor.
Older or younger guys?
Younger, because they’re still fresh!
What's the one thing you totally suck at doing?
Maths, I completely suck at it!
What makes you nervous?
Being in front of people, I always want to put my best foot forward but I always feel I’m not good enough when in front a crowd.
What word do you use most?
Are you allergic to anything?
No, but I don’t eat sea food because of cultural reasons. One of my clan names, “Ntlanzi” refers the sea and its creatures, which means that everything in the ocean I can’t eat.
Have you ever used your fame to get something for free?
Yes, I got in for free at a nightclub.
Who was the last person to see you naked?
My sister, she visited me last week.
If you could trade lives with one person for an entire day who would it be and why?
Oprah Winfrey, I believe we have the same heart and vision. I think I’m her younger and African version. I’d like to be in the state she’s in now as I’m headed there.
Do you believe in ghosts?
Yes and as a result I sleep with the lights on at night. Now that I live alone, I’m even more scared of the dark. I switch on the TV and put on a kiddies channel so then if I happen to wake up in the middle of the night, I don’t see anything gory to frighten me.
What is something you’ve always wanted to try but have been too scared to?
What is your favourite physical attribute about yourself?
If today was the last day of your life how would you spend it?
With my kids, we’d probably go to Gold Reef City and go on all the rides and eat junk food.
Would you rather be less attractive and rich or extremely attractive and poor?
Less attractive and rich as I can always fix myself up with my money.
Which song makes you feel amazing and why?
Lawrence Douglas ft. Yolanda Adams, it’s from Jerimiah verse 29 which says: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This song motivates me and makes me feel like nothing is impossible because it’s all in God’s hands.
How would you spent R10 million?
I’d start with me for a change because most of the time when I always look serve others first and I’m always last. I’d go on a holiday somewhere in Asia to meditate and be by myself and go on a serious shopping spree.
