Rihanna, real name Robyn Fenty, confirmed the news in a message posted on her Twitter and Instagram accounts on Wednesday (31May17), revealing fans will be able to purchase items from her cosmetics brand in just a few months time.
"You ready?" she asked fans before announcing, "@fentybeauty new generation of beauty... coming this FALL!"
In a follow-up post, Rihanna invited devotees to sign up to a mailing list, so they can receive updates regarding the official launch.
As the Barbadian beauty continues to make waves outside of music, she has been receiving honours and acknowledgements for her humanitarian and design work.
Earlier this month (May17) at the prestigious 69th annual Parsons Benefit for the Parsons School of Design in New York, Rihanna picked up an award for her work in performance, design, and fostering social good.
“You should be celebrated for your creativity, for your fearlessness, for your persistence and determination," she gushed during an acceptance speech at the event. "You should be celebrated for all of the work you put into building your future, for being different, for not being given enough credit."
Rihanna also picked up Harvard University's Humanitarian of the Year trophy in February (17), and back in 2014 she was presented with the Fashion Icon lifetime achievement award by bosses at the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
