At the funeral of Nelson Mandela, Ahmed Kathrada spoke. You could hear the heart break in his voice when he said, "When Walter died, I lost a father. And now, I have lost a brother. My life is a void, I don't know who to turn to." With Ahmed Kathrada's passing, we are the ones left without knowing who to turn to. RIP. A post shared by khaya dlanga (@khayadlanga) on
If the Rivonia trial was a superhero movie Ahmed Kathrada would be my STERRING!!! I have always been so drawn to this man, he spoke with such heart, such feeling....whenever he would relay stories of the struggle, i felt like it was just me and my Mkhulu Kathrada...very few live out their true purpose....HERE...a man that did just that and lived to tell the story!!!
