Our very own homegrown talent, Romy Titus will judge at this year’s Laureus World Sports Awards! Romy, who has previously been recognised as one the world’s leading sports journalists at the awards, will join the Laureus Media Selection Panel. The Laureus World Sports Awards is the world’s most prestigious global sports awards, celebrating sportspeople who have been outstanding during the previous year. Our fave sports journalist started her journalism days at age of nineteen. This was the time when she interviewed Hugh Masekela and Felicia Mabuza-Suttle for E-News. After five years, she moved to SABC, and in 2008 was awarded Best News Anchor Award by them. Romy is currently working for Supersport and presents the radio show ‘Game on’ on Radio 2000. She also works with SABC Sport, mainly focusing on the Premier Soccer League and National First Division. These awards will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Wednesday, 26 March.
