SAFW style hits and misses

accreditation

Every year, the fashion industry comes together to celebrate style. It’s that time of the year once again. SA Fashion week opens this week and last night the opening party was held at the VIP room in Sandton.

Here are some of our favourite and not so favourite looks from the event.

Amanda du Pont

Amanda

We love the hair and make-up on Amanda but not so much the dress. It’s a beautiful dress but it wasn’t really fit for the occasion.

Dineo Moeketsi

dineo

As usual, Dineo slayed. We can’t fault her on anything. The dress, the make-up and the hair are absolutely stunning.

Nomzamo Mbatha

nOmzamo

We can see what look Nomzamo was going for but it didn’t really come together. Luckily she’s got a great body so we can pretend we missed the dress. We love the hair and make-up.

Blue Mbombo

Blue

The duchess is giving us Bonang Matheba and we’re not complaining. She looks absolutely gorgeous in this dress.

Ayanda Thabethe

ayanda

Ayanda looked simple yet elegant. We love it.

Nadia Nakia

Nadia

We don’t have much to say about Nadia’s outfit but her hair looks good, as usual.

Refilwe Modiselle

refilwe

Refilwe looked nice.

Ntando Kunene

Ntando

Unfortunately our Miss SA didn’t bring her A game, but it was her first fashion event as Miss SA, so we’ll give her the benefit of the doubt for her next one.

Khanya Mkangisa

khanya

Khanya also went for the simple and elegant look.
