Short hair, don't care!

Bonnie Mbuli has been giving us lessons on rocking super short hair since, well, forever, but now there's a new crop (ha!) of celebs giving us short hairspiration. With temperatures soaring, many of us are heading to the salon for a less complicated style. Three of the world's newest stars show us how they rock their short hair looks.

Danai Gurira's bold lip and bolder earrings

This Zimbabwean-American actress and playwright currently features on The Walking Dead as Michonne, a former lawyer turned zombie slayer. Her red carpet style has also been slaying - we love how she plays with bold lip colour and isn't afraid of dramatic jewellery. Keep the evening earrings for date night, but don't be afraid to wear hot hoops and a fierce lip - totally office appropriate.

Lupita Nyong'o's luminous skin and power brows

Lupita Nyong'o has been causing a stir in Hollywood thanks to her stellar turn in 12 Years a Slave. Her fresh faced glamour has turned heads throughout the festival and premiere circuit of the flick and we love how she embraces her skin's natural glow. Emphasise your brows and downplay your lips with a bronze-toned lipstick. A highlighter or bronzer on your cheekbones are enough to complete this look.

Nandi Mngoma's turban and turbo-charged lashes

Singer and TV presenter Nandi's mega-watt smile gets all the attention, but don't be fooled - her beauty looks have been on point since she burst onto the scene in 2010. We love how she's paired a demure turban with outsized lashes. You don't have to take it to extreme lengths if it's not suitable for your workplace, but a few swipes of a volumising or lengthening mascara should do the trick.
