There’s a thin line between being fun and being immature.
His priorities are messed up
Whilst you’re working on your health, fitness and career, he would rather spend his time and money on alcohol and parties. There’s nothing wrong with having fun once in a while, but if this is his lifestyle then you should definitely be worried.
There’s no clear direction of his career
He’s doing ‘this and that’ and you don’t really know what that entails. A combination of laziness and lack of ambition in a grown man is a sign of immaturity because at some point in your lives you need to see where it is your headed career wise.
He isn’t motivated
He doesn’t show any interest in anything that can secure him a future. He usually gets everything he wants and needs from his parents, hence he doesn’t see any need for working for himself.
He gets dramatic over trivial matters
There’re things you have absolutely no control over like what your followers comments on social media. A mature man wouldn’t be bothered by this, but the immature one on the other hand will blow things out of proportion.
He’s ignorant about important issues
If you find yourself contemplating taking your partner to social spaces where he’d have to engage in meaningful conversations then there might be a problem. Your insecurity of him stems from constantly having to deal with the embarassment of him saying something ignorant statements.
You’re the only one preparing for the future
There comes a time in an adults life where worrying about the future becomes a normal thing. He’s more of a ‘live in the now’ type of guy and whenever you ask him about the future he gives you vague answers. You might want to reconsider your relationship if your man has one or two of these qualities.
