Step 1: Always start with a lip liner as it helps to prevent smudging. It also enhances the lip for the fuller effect. Choose a lip liner that is as close to the lip colour you’ll be wearing as possible. Carefully outline the lip following the curves.
Step 2: Now focus on the inner lip, draw short lines from the inner lip leading to the cupids bow and do the same for the lower lip – this technique creates dimension.
Step 3: Then take your lipstick and use an angled lip brush to fill in the lips and blend the liner with the lip colour. The brush will give you more control to achieve better definition as opposed to applying colour directly from the lip bullet.
Step 4: This step is the cherry on top. Pick a lip gloss shade that is slightly lighter than your lipstick for a three dimensional illusion. Dab four spots on the lips, two on the inner top lip and two on the centre of your bottom lip. Blend the dots together making sure the shine stays just on the centre, this will draw light making your lips look fuller.
