Moisture, Moisture, Moisture!

We always preach moisture. Our hair curl pattern does not allow natural oils to travel down the hair hair shaft, and therefore needs us to add moisture often. Think of your hair as skin – it also needs to be moisturised in order to look moisturised and nourished.

Deep condition regularly

There are several methods and tools to help retain moisture in your hair, starting with deep conditioning. Deep conditioning does not only treat the surface of hair, but deeply penetrates the hair and nourishes between the cuticles, deep within the cuticle layers. Nutrients and vitamins deeply penetrate the hair, this is what we mean by “feed your hair”.

Avoid harsh chemicals

It might be tempting for your hairstylist to put chemical on your hair but any products that are full of chemicals and that alter the structure of your natural hair generally cause damage and strand weakness. Look for products that use natural ingredients; that promote hair strength, growth and health.
