From Opening Ceremony, Marc Jacobs to Proenza Schouler make up artists found inspiration in the models club-hopping repertoire. The look resembles that of a night on the dance floor where skin is dewy enough to ooze sheen without looking too oily.
To get the look the make-up artists let go of foundation and dabbed Vaseline (yes, good old Vaseline) over the models’ cheekbones, eyelids and just underneath the bottom eyelid.
Another option to get the sheen was using a clear lip or one that matches your complexion just like foundation would gloss – it does wonders to reflect the light and add radiance to your skin.
To recreate a bead of sweat, drop a tiny bit of the gloss over the temples of the head right by your hairline. We love how the experts at Proenza Schouler applied a light layer of M.A.C’s Pro Sculpting Crème and Pro Mixing Medium Shine on the eyelids.
We dare you to glisten this winter!
