Warm Wholesome Meal


'Tis the season where everybody wishes that they did not have get out of bed. People are ready to put on their jackets and boots and the flu outbreaks are absolutely horrible. But there's nothing like a great home cooked meal to warm you up. Here is a chicken noodle soup recipe to try out for you and your family.


1 whole fresh chicken

1 medium white onion, chopped

3 stalks celery, diced

5 whole carrots, diced

3 garlic cloves, minced

3 cans chicken broth

salt and pepper


1.Cover chicken with water in a large stove top pot.

2.Add chicken broth, carrots, celery, garlic and onions.

3.Boil until chicken is done.

4.Remove chicken and debone.

5.Place chicken back in pot.

6.Add additional water to soup mixture if needed, usually about 4 cups.

7.Bring soup mixture to boil and then add noodles.

8.Boil soup until noodles are soft and ready to eat.

9.Salt and pepper to taste.
