The full list of Oscar nominees have been revealed!
"American Sniper," "Birdman," "Boyhood," "The Grand Budapest Hotel," "The Imitation Game," "Selma," "The Theory of Everything" and "Whiplash" were nominated for best picture.
This year celebrates the 87th Academy Awards which will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on 22 February.

A washed-up Hollywood actor famous for playing superhero Birdman attempts to make a comeback by writing, directing and starring in a Broadway. This dark comedy film stars Michael Keaton, Emma Stone, Edward Norton and Zach Galifianakis.
This is a coming-of-age drama film has been noticed as a landmark film because of its unique it was shot, intermittently over a 12-year period.
"The Grand Budapest Hotel"
Inspired by the writings of Austrian writer and journalist Stefan Zweig, the film tells the story of a concierge, Gustave who is framed for murder, trying to prove his innocence with the help of his young employee, Zero.
"The Imitation Game"
In the period of the Second World War, code-breaker Alan Turing is racing against time as they attempt to break Nazi Germany's Enigma code at Britain's top-secret Government Code and Cypher School. The film uncovers the key periods of Alan's life and his key contribution in helping the Allies win WW II.
This epic film is based on Martin Luther King, Jr's contribution to the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches. Common, Oprah Winfrey and Cuba Gooding, Jr. star in this historical biopic.

"The Theory of Everything"
Stephen Hawking is known as the Einstein of our generation. The film shows audiences the early life of Stephen and how he became the genius that he is today.
Andrew is a young jazz drummer who has been playing drums from a very early age. When he gets accepted into the Shaffer Conservatory, the best music school in the U.S, he also goes under the the tutelage of the school's infamous maestro, Terence who at first seems courteous but later reveals his darker and abusive side.
