Switch from powder to cream blush

Your skin tends to be more dry in winter so you want to use moisture-based products as much as you can. A cream blush will give you a nice dewy finish. But, when applying it, remember that a little goes a long way.

Don’t skip the primer

You can get away with skipping primer in summer, but in winter it’s a no-no. Using this will leave your skin moisturised for longer and stay flawless the whole day.

Choose a moisturising foundation

Liquid and mineral foundations are the best in winter. The aim here is to get a hydrating and glowy finish. If you aren’t a fan of foundation, BB creams also work just as effectively.

Alternate between cream eyeshadow and powder

If you’ve been reluctant to use cream eyeshadows, winter is the perfect time for you to start experimenting with them. There’s little moisture during winter, so you don’t have to worry about it smudging.

Swap lip-stains for hydrating lip products

No body wants chipped lips and using lipstains throughout the cold season can lead to that. Rather use tinted lip balms and sheer lipsticks as they provide the right moisture you need.
