Even though upgrades are sometimes needed, they can turn out for the worst. Here’s why:

It’s a risk

Deciding to upgrade your man is a gamble because you just hope that it turns out for the best and you’ll somehow benefit from the hard work you put in.

It’s a clean up for someone else…

….Hence upgrades should only be limited to spouses and serious partners. Spending money and time on someone you don’t see a future with just so he can fit the profile of your ‘ideal’ man is a total waste. His new and improved self will be enjoyed by his next woman.

He gets big headed

So you met him not knowing anything about style, good food and was broke. Now that he see’s there’s more to life than bootleg jeans he feels as though he knows better than you. This is when he starts having comments about how bad your hair and clothes look.

He’ll become a ladies’ man

Woman take notice of a well groomed and kept man, so prepare to be ignored and not considered a priority anymore because he now has options.

You’ll be left out

Upgrades come with introductions to new and fun places to hang out at. With all these exciting changes, he’ll want to show it off and that mean’s less time for you.
