“Expect the very best from me” Femi Kuti on the DStv Delicious Festival

accreditation

How and when did you know that music was your calling?

It was from a very early age, but finally I made up my mind at when I was 15 years old to play music.

You’ve travelled all over the world. Out of all the countries you’ve been to, which one would you compare SA to?

Maybe London as they also drive on the left side.

How are you feeling about performing at this year’s Delicious Festival?

I'm super excited – it's been a while since I've performed in SA.

What can we expect from you at the festival?

Always the very best!

How long will you be in the country for? And for fans that can’t make it to the Delicious Festival, can they catch you somewhere else?

After nine days of performing, I might be doing a tour of the best tourist destination spots around the country.

What message do you have for your die-hard fans?

I love them and always wish them the very best, and I'm very happy and excited to be able to bring my band and music live to them in SA again.
