Last year in 2017, we saw local celebrities like radio Dj Fresh and Tv presenter Roxy Burger doing their part in this initiative by wearing slippers on the 11th of May which now has been the official date for Slipper day.
In 2017, the campaign raised over R3 million by selling over R387 000 wristbands.
Wimpy is a proud partner of the initiative for the fifth year in a row and aims to surpass the previous year’s achievement.
To take part in Slipper Day all you need is a R10 wristband to wear your favourite slippers all day!
Make the dreams of life-threatened children come true when you purchase your R10 wristband from any Pick n Pay or Wimpy store or Reach For A Dream branch. Wearing your R10 wristband and slippers will also get you a free coffee from Wimpy on the 11th May 2018.
