Back in Mzansi after his US trip, the rapper performed at the All Love Sundays event in Soweto last weekend. Nasty C, real name Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, signed his first artist Rowlene Bosman whom he previously featured on his singles Phases from the album (Bad Hair) and his latest album (Strings & Bling) SMA under the new record label.
“Proud to announce I’m a record label owner. My first artist is the amazing @rowlene_sa. TALL RACKS!! Coz that’s the agenda”, he wrote on Instagram.
Nasty C joins other local artists like Nhlanhla Nciza, Cassper Nyovest and Fifi Cooper who have their own record labels.
In an article in Newsday (Zimbabwe’s independent daily newspaper), it was reported The Hell Naw hitmaker put up a stellar performance during his Zimbabwean debut at the Change a Life Concert at Harare’s Wingate Golf Club. Nasty C headlined the show and performed his hit singles UOK, My Baby, Hell Naw, Jungle, Jiggy Jagga, SMA and Said from his latest album.
According to online publication KokoLife, the rapper managed to scoop the Best African Artiste Award at the 2018 Headies in Lagos, Nigeria.
