Here's what she had to say about the upcoming show Fix My Love

1.     How does it feel being part of the BET family

It feels incredible! A true blessing because I’ve always wanted to do something with BET as I feel completely represented by the channel, so this show and this opportunity came at just the right time.

I am BLACK. I am BOLD. I am BET.

2.     What element will you be bringing to the show?

I’m bringing two main ingredients the show requires, honesty and love. Sometimes we forget about the core of the show, and focus just on the entertainment value of it and miss the genuine content that honesty brings, that’s what I’m delivering. The couples come to me with love folded in their issues. I give them love back and help them find that hope.

3.     The show is about love, what does love mean to Khabonina?

We are nothing but love. This is what I preach through my work and at my workshops and motivational speaking sessions. Self love is a journey that all of us must embark on, It has no end, this is what keeps it exciting.

4.     What’s the number one rule you always apply in your relationships?

I’m a bit of a rebel, I don’t do rules when it comes to love. I believe relationships should be fluid. People apply way too many rules, hence they end up drowning in their rules, sometimes we must learn to swim in love.

5.     Besides the show, what else are you working on?

Oh my word ! I just returned from the first leg of my KhaboYoga tour for the Nelson  Mandela Centenary which took place in Hong Kong a few weeks ago and it was a huge success. Alongside the #Mandela100Yogathon, I conducted a special workshop at the City University in Hong Kong where I spoke to students about my innovative #AfroYoga concept – a message I will continue to spread throughout Africa. I received a City University award of the highest honour of a professional creative for the world from the Director of City University Mr Wilson Lam and YogaRaj himself. I’m in awe of this appreciation and recognition.
