What appealed to you most about the CÎROC x Moschino collaboration?
Moschino is a great brand, very fashion-forward. The two together are the playful luxury Cîroc stand for and I think it’s a genius collaboration.
What appealed to you most about being a CÎROC Brand Ambassador?
If you compare it to other vodka brands, Cîroc stands out. We lead the way in terms of dialogue and trendsetting. Also, we get to travel the world and have a good time and take some great pictures. Cîroc is an incredible luxury brand, so I can be authentic with them.
Who’s your partner in crime when it comes to partying and why?
My manager is a good party friend.
You have one song to get people dancing, what is it?
A lot of people find it difficult to feel comfortable in their own skin. What are your tips?
If you are yourself, it’s so much easier. You’re not trying too hard and to be someone you’re not. You look uncomfortable when you are trying to be something you’re not.
How would you sum up your own personal fashion style?
Fun and sexy, elegant and sometimes bold – it’s mine.
Where do you get your fashion inspiration from and how important is this sense of personalisation and individuality in your style?
I use Pinterest a lot, mixing and matching things. We live on Instagram, so even if I don’t stop and screenshot something, subconsciously I’m always taking things in.
Who are your fashion icons?
Kylie Jenner – I like her look.
How would you describe your style as a DJ/MC? What makes you unique?
Being a DJ is male-centric in South Africa. It’s really hard when you arrive at any event, looking like a girl; people think you’re doing what a boy should be doing. Being a woman sets me apart.
Who or what has inspired your will to succeed?
My family, they are very supportive.
