If the foundation stain is water-based, then shaving cream will do the trick. Cover the stain and leave on for about two to three minutes. Then, gently rub the stain for about one minute. Rinse with cold water. If the stain is still there, then rinse it again, this time with warm water.
An oil-based foundation is always stubborn to remove, but dishwashing soap should work just fine. First, dampen the stain with cool water; apply drops of dishwashing liquid and gently rub with your fingers. After rubbing, rinse with cool water.
Foam soap works like magic for both oil-based and oil-free foundation. Put a few drops on the stain, rub gently and leave on for two minutes so the stain can lift. Then, rinse with warm water and you’re done.
