Talk about exes

Unless you dwell on the ex topic the whole night, we see no reason not to mention your ex. This is a great opportunity for both of you to learn about your past experiences, who knows, this might help you determine if you like the guy or not.

Dress however you want

Comfort is everything and there’s nothing like having to cut a good date short because your clothes or shoes are uncomfortable. Of course we’re not condoning that you rock up in sweat pants to a fancy restaurant. Put effort into how you look without compromising on comfort.

Kiss him if you want to

At times no matter how much you try denying it, the chemistry is too strong for you to ignore. When he’s walking you to your door if it feels right then go for it. If you don’t, you’ll spend the the whole night time beating yourself up and you don’t want that right?

Have sex

Author of It’s okay to sleep with him on the first date, Jeff Wilser told Glamour magazine that in his experience, there’s never been a man who complained about a woman giving it up on the first date. You can’t fault chemistry. Be grown ups about it and do what feels right at that moment.

Eat what you want

If you were to look at many ‘first date rules’, they’re almost all in favour of men. For instance, they’re allowed to order the biggest portion of steak and eat it all but why can’t you? Don’t follow the trend of being a ‘salad girl’ only to regret it when you get home.
