[SPONSORED] All creativity, every ounce of imagination, every idea that"s ever been thunk, starts from one little itch: Curiosity. #CallingAllCurious is the rally cry for our like-minded kin. Introducing our Fall Kin Each season we work with the ideal accomplices in both style and curiosity. This season, our kin is a group so eclectic and fun, we’re sure you’ll become instant friends. From painters to bloggers, chefs to editors, our cast has it all.
We’d like to introduce you to Madelynn Furlong from Wide Eyed Legless, Oroma Elewa founder of Pop’Africana, Chef Ari Taymor from LA’s Alma, William Logan a Brooklyn-based artist, and Kris Moran. William Our Fall kin member William Logan is a one-of-a-kind artist from Brooklyn, New York. Right down to the bird’s nest he weaved into his beard one experimental day, William’s World is acutely curious, and wildly colourful.
His interest in colour is not a lack thereof; rather it’s an interest in the vastness and possibilities of grey. Don’t call it chromophobia (we landed on unichromist). William is also known as a propmaster, especially for the Oscar nominated film “Beasts of the Southern Wild”. Oroma Our Fall kin member, Oroma Elewa, embodies what it online casino is to be culture curious. Oroma is founder of the cultural movement and lifestyle brand, Pop’Africana, and its event series A BrUNCH of Girls. She strives on creating an environment where women can have meaningful dialogue and inspire one another. Her series A BrUNCH of Girls, connects women face to face and engages them to tackle issues affecting all women on a global scale. Oroma’s addition of her own favorite pieces blend in seamlessly with our Fall pieces. The combination is a match made in heaven, just like Oroma and Fossil. Ari Meet Ari, our final Fall Kin member. Ari Taymor, the chef and co-owner of Alma, (the LA spot buzzing in food circles), is out to create dishes with feeling. Whether it"s love, nostalgia or unearthing a memory, he has talent for making incredible masterpieces with ingredients from the familiar to the obscure. Ari says that instead of seeking creativity he waits patiently for his ideas to pop up, and finds inspiration in day-to-day activities, stating that it"s about being open and paying attention to everything. Ari included a few of his favorite ingredients with his Fossil picks and we have to agree his picks are perfect for any chef. A handy journal to store any secret ingredients and our classic Grant Watch to never lose track of time. Madelynn Meet Madelynn Furlong, art director by day, style authority by night. We just adore her artful and highly personal touch on fashion. You may have seen her (utterly) amazing blog, Wide Eyed Legless. She provides readers with the perfect combination of simplicity and eclectic style. Madelynn has a love affair with pink and we have to say her picks are the prettiest combination of them all.
