Actor Jamie Bartlett, of Rhythm City and SA’s Got Talent, was robbed and beaten by three armed men, and stuffed into the boot of his car on Friday night. 
News wires report he was hijacked while in Joburg’s Auckland Park/Brixton area. The robbers then drove him to the East Rand and dumped him in a veld in Zonkizizwe, near Katlehong. He asked for help from a nearby house, where the residents called police for him. Bartlett was robbed of his vehicle, a black iPhone 7, a shoulder bag and two gold rings, all with a total value of around R1.2 million.
