This is why we love Amanda Black’s new Album, POWER

She features African American singer, Anthony Hamilton, on a track with the Soweto Gospel Choir. The title of the song is Vuka where she gets him to sing in her home language of isiXhosa. How cool is that? The 18-track album also features Adekunle Gold, a Nigerian singer and songwriter, and songbird Ami Faku.

The singer stayed true to herself with the album tracks being dominantly sang in isiXhosa. The former Idols star pours her heart out in what she calls a diary and a journey through healing. “It wasn’t easy. If you listen to the album, then you’ll understand because I tell the story in different ways”, she said, according to IOL news.

The album cover is stunning. The songstress looks all sorts of magnificent with a blue and gold bead wig and a bedazzling sequin dress. The look definitely screams “POWER”!!!

The album has been well-received with tweeps already sharing how much they can relate and love the project. Now who doesn’t want an album so relatable if feels like it was written for them? We STAN!
