Former Miss South Africa, Tamaryn Green, had a wondrous umembeso ceremony in her hometown of Paarl, Western Cape, this past weekend.

The medical doctor got engaged to her now-husband, Ze Nxumalo, back in April and they spent the weekend celebrating their umembeso - a ceremony that is held once ilobolo has been paid. The ceremony involves the groom and his family showering the bride’s family with gifts.

Taking to her Instagram page, Tamaryn posted images from the day in which she can be seen wearing two different dresses: one red ensemble by Natalia Jeffreys and another outfit by Scalo designer.

“Thank you Lord for a beautiful and blessed day. Thank you for blessing me with the love of my life @zenxumalo #umembeso,” she wrote.
