Veteran actor, MacDonald Mathunjwa, has passed away.
According to a report by Daily Sun, the 72-year-old succumbed to Covid-19 related complications in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Speaking to the publication, his daughter, Zanoxolo Mathunjwa, said that the actor was rushed to the hospital on Sunday after having difficulties with breathing.

“My dad started having difficulty breathing late on Saturday and was rushed to the doctor the following day. The doctor wrote the letter for him to be transferred to the hospital and he was admitted immediately,” she said before revealing that he did not recover and passed on.
