Lerato Mogoatlhe spent all her life dreaming about travelling Africa. Today she has carved her niche by experiencing the continent and documenting it.

Over ten years ago, Lerato Mogoatlhe left her cushy job in the media industry to travel Africa. Everyone close to her couldn’t understand what her plan was but she had a bigger vision. Madam Afrika, as she calls herself, has travelled most of the African countries and continues to plan more adventures, post Covid-19.

While her peers obsess about overseas travel, Lerato’s love affair with Africa stands tall. “My love for Africa has always been absolute and I’ve always had wanderlust, so it will always be a case of ‘Africa first’ with me,” she gushes.
