TV personality and businesswoman, Relebogile Mabotja, is excited about the return of her talk show, Unpacked With Relebogile Mabotja (Season 3), which premieres on Thursday night on SABC 3.

“It’s super-exciting! I’m also nervous, but mostly grateful that people want to watch the show and engage,” she says.

She adds that guests will be sharing more gut-wrenching stories like in the past two seasons.

“Viewers can expect raw stories of ordinary people sharing their truths and realities. They can also expect to learn and grow with us,” she says.

The former Metro FM newsreader says hosting Unpacked With Relebogile Mabotja has opened her up to other people’s daily realities.

“I have learned that people are going through the most and facing terrible battles – with many suffering silently on many issues. But I have also learned that many are resilient, strong and extremely courageous to go through all that and still go on to conquer. This has taught me to be even more grateful for my life and its many blessings. I appreciate the platform I have been given to facilitate conversations and bring certain subjects to light,” she says.

The star, who has also been blessed with a baby boy, explains that being a new mom hasn’t been a walk in the park. She tells TRUELOVE that she had to let go of some things to make space for motherhood.

“I don’t know any other way of being a mother. I had to take some things off my plate, so that I could make room for my child and his needs. The juggle really comes with an awesome team of supporters – at home and at work. They are helping me to manage it all,” she says.

Like any other mother, Relebogile says she wants to give her son the best life and fears that she might not be able to.

“My fears are around being able to give my son the best life possible, but also allowing him to be himself,” she adds.

Catch Unpacked With Relebogile Mabotja on weekdays at 5pm on SABC 3.
